How it works

Three screens. After that, you always know where your suitcase is.

The app searching for the Altair Tag
01 Activate the Tag

Pull the tab, open the app — your phone finds the Altair Tag by itself. No account, no extra app.

Connecting the suitcase to your phone
02 Connect once

One tap on “Connect”, a name for your suitcase — done. That was the entire setup, once and for all.

The suitcase on the map with its address
03 Always on the map

From now on your suitcase appears alongside your devices — pinpoint accurate, with a street address. And when it is close by, you simply make it ring.

Apple & Android

Works with Apple Find My and the Android network — no dedicated app needed.

Worldwide tracking

Millions of devices relay the position anonymously — including places your phone will never be.

Make it ring

Set the Tag ringing when the suitcase is close by but out of sight.

Waterproof

Rain on the tarmac, a wet cargo hold — none of it bothers the Tag.

01

You know before the airline does

Everyone else is waiting at the carousel. You look at your phone: your suitcase has landed — or it is still at the connecting airport. Which means you report it with a location and an address, not a hunch. Two networks, one Tag: Apple Find My on the iPhone, the Android Find My Device network on everything else.

Built for the cargo hold

Waterproof, tough enough for baggage handling, and approved for the cabin as well as the hold. The Tag does not charge — it runs: when the coin cell battery eventually gives out, you swap it yourself in seconds, just like a wristwatch. No charging cable in your luggage, no flat battery on the day you leave.

Does the Tag work with Android?
Yes. The Altair Tag works with Apple Find My and the Android Find My Device network. Pair it once and the location appears directly in the system app.
Can the Tag go on a plane?
Yes, in your carry-on as well as in your checked suitcase. Trackers with a coin cell battery are approved by the major airlines for both.
How accurate is the location?
At airports, in cities and anywhere there are people, the position is extremely precise. In remote areas, the last known location is shown.
What happens when the battery runs out?
You swap the coin cell battery yourself — in seconds, without tools. The app warns you in good time.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Tracking runs on the Apple and Android networks — free for good, with no account and no monthly fees.

Why the Altair Tag?

  • Both networks instead of just one — works with iPhone and Android
  • A replaceable coin cell battery instead of a sealed-in rechargeable one
  • Waterproof and flight-ready — built for the cargo hold, not for a drawer
  • Fits the inside pocket of every Altair suitcase
